I'm an indie author and a scribbler of inane babble. I talk about books I've read/liked. Or at least, that's the plan.
Most of the reviews will be considered "mini-reviews." Usually, it's mostly my reaction to what I've been reading. There are people who are far better at doing full and helpful reviews. But I still have fun doing them, and hope you enjoy them!
I just found out that one of the stories I finished, "I Dream of Zenia with the Bright Red Teeth" actually revisits characters from one of Atwood's novels, The Robber Bride. And so another book gets added to my TBR list.
But it also gives me a new respect for the story, because it stood perfectly on its own without me being confused. I would've never guessed it revolves around past characters. I already enjoyed the story when I first listened to it, but now I definitely have a deeper appreciation for it.
