I'm an indie author and a scribbler of inane babble. I talk about books I've read/liked. Or at least, that's the plan.
Most of the reviews will be considered "mini-reviews." Usually, it's mostly my reaction to what I've been reading. There are people who are far better at doing full and helpful reviews. But I still have fun doing them, and hope you enjoy them!
After finally reading/listening to the book, I decided it was time to finally see the movie.
And I was not disappointed.
Sure, not everything could be in the film version--but it was already clocking a little over two hours long. The main bad guy is a lot more menacing in the novel, but he still comes off as a Grade A douche-bucket in this.
Definitely one of the best and most sincere adaptations I've seen in a long time.
