Michael's Book Babble

I'm an indie author and a scribbler of inane babble. I talk about books I've read/liked. Or at least, that's the plan.

Most of the reviews will be considered "mini-reviews." Usually, it's mostly my reaction to what I've been reading. There are people who are far better at doing full and helpful reviews. But I still have fun doing them, and hope you enjoy them!

"We always leave the microphone on him. He [Robert Durst] knows that."

"It wasn't until months later when we had an editor listen to the material, we discovered this piece of audio."

"Authorities have had that audio for many months."

- Andrew Jarecki; talking about his series, The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst

And this story continues to be fascinating as ever, even long after the cameras have stopped rolling...

If you haven't watched HBO's The Jinx, I highly recommend it. It's only six episodes, and I believe they are now all available on HBOGo.

One of the best docu-series I've ever seen. Chilling, mesmerizing, unforgettable...and above all, it looks like something good is going to come from all of this.
